Norfolk State Basketball

Kierra "Me Me" Wheeler is an American Junior college basketball player for the Norfolk State Spartans. Me Me helped the Spartans win the 2023 MEAC Women’s Basketball Championship title. Assisted in the Spartans ranking first in the NCAA in Scoring Defense and Field Goal Percentage Defense and fifth nationally in Steals Per Game, Turnovers Forced Per Game, and Three Point Percentage Defense. Named the MEAC Most Outstanding Player of the 2023 Women’s Basketball Tournament. Garnered All-MEAC Second Team and Defensive Team honors. Was named the HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW on March 13. Averaged 26.9 minutes per game for a total of 862 minutes played during the season. Second on the team in scoring with 354 points with an average of 11.1 points per game. Recorded a team-high 270 total rebounds, 115 offensive and 155 defensive, with 32 blocks (2nd), 32 steals, and 23 assists. She shot 54.3% from the field and 54.8% from the free throw line. Totaled nine double-doubles throughout the season. Scored a career-high 22 points in the MEAC semifinal game against N.C. Central after putting up 21 points the game before in the quarterfinals against S.C. State. Scored 21 points in the Jan. 14 game against Howard where NSU defeated HU 64-37 in Echols Arena. Named MEAC Player of the Week four times throughout the season of 2023. 

In the 23-24 season Me Me has won MEAC player of the week four times and was First Team Preseason.
